My story

In 2009 at the age of 13, I fell from a tree and broke my back, leaving me paralysed from the waist down and a full-time wheelchair user. I have always been involved in sport, and prior to my accident played football for Brighton and Hove Albion with my sights set on a professional career and playing for England.

Following my accident, I gained a reputation for pushing boundaries and being extremely driven and active. Whilst in rehabilitation at Stoke Mandeville hospital, I attended a Paralympic Trial Day where I was selected by GB talent scouts for multiple sports including wheelchair tennis.

Whilst I am driven to succeed in my tennis career and am focused on winning grand slam titles and Paralympic medals, I also hope my story can provide a platform to inspire and positively impact the lives of others. I want to encourage people to challenge and change the perceptions they have towards their own mental and physical capabilities.
